It is a procedure of Urban Law in which the superficial difference of a land or farm is rectified. That is, the difference between the real measure and the one that is expressed in the Property Registry entries.
In cases where there is no concordance between the capacity which appears registered in the Property Registry and the capacity that a land or farm really has, it is when we can initiate a file to rectify the surface of the land or farms.
Depending on the difference in meters existing between what is registered and the reality, we speak of rectification over or under.
If the difference in meters supposes more than 10% of the total capacity registered in the Registry, it will be a rectification of surface due to under capacity and if, on the contrary, the difference is less than 10% of the total capacity registered in the Property Registry, it will be a rectification due to over capacity.
